Bangladesh's lowest ever World Cup total

Bangladesh recorded their lowest-ever total in the World Cup after West Indies crushes the hosts out for 58 in their Group B match at Mirpur on 4th March, 2011.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh elected to bat first but failed to capitalize the situation. West Indies speedster Kemar Roach started to bully the Bangladesh batsmen with his sheer pace. Roach provided the early breakthrough and it was left for Sulieman Benn and Darren Sammy to pickup the pieces from there on.

Bangladesh's 58 is the fourth lowest score in World Cup Cricket.

Canada achieved the embarrassment of scoring 36 against hosts Sri Lanka, the lowest-ever by any team in the World Cup on February 19, 2003.
