Sallu’s 'Ready' is most eagerly awaited film

Salman Khan is clearly the man of the moment. Not only is he sweeping the awards for his performance in Dabangg, his upcoming film Ready tops the list of most eagerly awaited films in our new poll.

In the poll, we had asked our readers to vote for the most eagerly awaited film for the first half of 2011. The choice was between five important films: Aamir Khan’s Dhobi Ghat, Salman Khan’s Ready, Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Priyanka Chopra’s 7 Khoon Maaf or Akshay Kumar’s Patiala House.

We were flooded with votes and most of them (51 percent) favoured Salman Khan’s Ready, co-starring Asin and directed by Anees Bazmee. The film is not an action thriller but a comedy with doses of action.
